Prosthetic Make-up Course 

This Course is designed to equip the students with the knowledge of creating realistic prosthetics, and applying with proper coloration and blending. This class also gives the basic skills to work in a special make up effects lab. This class will teach students from beginning to end, the entire prosthetic process. Taught in a working lab, students will learn the fundamental job skills necessary to create and apply their own realistic appliances, for HD, television, film or print. Students will create silicone gel-filled appliances, gelatin appliances, pros-aide transfer appliances and foam latex facial appliances. Students will learn and practice the art of application, utilizing proper placement, coloration and blending to create realistic prosthetic makeup creations.


Hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:00 pm 

(4 weeks – total clock hours 140)
