Our Summer Boot Camps are led by some of the most accomplished and knowledgeable instructors in the industry. Learn everything from making blood to completing a short film. Designed for students ages 13-17. For students ages 18 and up please check out our Professional Crash Courses.
Students will learn how to paint cuts and bruises, create realistic deep cut wounds, apply 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns, and how to apply and paint a foam latex prosthetic. Instruction runs 9am - 4pm with a one-hour lunch break.
Mix up your own fake blood and slime. Cast prosthetics in gelatin and latex and apply and paint gory wounds! Watch a full lifecasting demonstration and see what it's like to work in a Hollywood effects lab! Instruction runs 9am - 4pm with a one-hour lunch break.
Practice 3rd degree burns, bullet holes, exit wounds, and zombie skin. Learn how to sculpt realistic injuries for flat molds and apply full-face foam prosthetics. Instruction runs 9am - 4pm with a one-hour lunch break.
Film your own movie! Students get an inside look at Hollywood moviemaking: Write a script, work with digital assets, block your shots, shoot, edit and present your finished short film to the class! Instruction runs 9am - 4pm with a one-hour lunch break.

To access our campus, enter through the Wiltern Building Offices entrance located on Wilshire Boulevard between the Wiltern Theater entrance and the AT&T store. Our entrance is on the second floor, Suite 202, directly across from the elevators or to your immediate left from the stairwell.

I graduated from my dream school on Friday Cinema Makeup School! This has been one of the greatest opportunities and best experiences of my life. I attended Cinema Makeup School this past year and loved every day of it. I took the complete track which included all of the classes they offer, and I am coming away with a ton of knowledge and network.
